Wizybot vs. Revie based on what you send and what you reply

A store with 600 orders a month lives on WhatsApp more than it seems. Hundreds of questions come in, thousands of notifications and reminders go out, and every message has a cost for someone. When comparing Wizybot vs Revie, that count matters more than the list of features, because each tool charges for a different side of the conversation.

Wizybot charges when its AI replies. What you send in campaigns and automations, and what your agents write, does not consume your quota. Revie charges when your store sends: every review request, every order notification, and every campaign has a cost, in addition to the monthly plan fee.

That is why we are not going tool by tool here. We count the messages from a normal month, see who handles each type and how much it costs, and review what remains unresolved with either one.

A month of WhatsApp in a store with 600 orders

Assume a D2C brand with 600 orders per month and about 800 customer conversations. Before talking about plans, it is useful to list which messages go through your WhatsApp, who starts them, and what each tool does with them.

The table summarizes what each company publishes on its site and help center. The volumes are an example for calculation purposes; your numbers will be different.

With that list in view, the difference is quickly understood. Wizybot is built for the lines that start with the customer. Revie is built for those that start with your store, and especially for one: the review.

Build your own list

The example helps to understand the models, but the decision comes from your numbers. Export the chats and messages from your last month and count every line: how many conversations your customers opened, how many notifications and reminders you sent, how many campaigns went out and to how many people, and how many reviews you requested. Also note how many of those conversations ended up with someone on your team.

If your count is heavily weighted toward incoming messages, the main problem is customer service. If it is weighted toward the ones you send, the problem is the cost per message and what you do with the replies. And if your numbers are low on both sides, perhaps the challenge still lies in your ecommerce sales strategies rather than in WhatsApp.

Incoming messages

These are the ones that take the most hours away from your team, because each one requires a different answer.

After-hours questions

A customer asks at 11 p.m. if a dress comes in a small size and if it will arrive before Saturday. With Wizybot, the AI answers with information from your store, at any time and in more than 90 languages. You can adjust its tone, accent, and style to sound like your brand, and each AI response counts against your plan's quota.

With Revie, the response depends on the plan. Lia, its AI assistant, is only available in the Plus plan. In Lite and Pro, that question is answered by your team from their own WhatsApp, the next day if no one is on call. Speed is also a form of service, as explained in these psychology strategies for customer service.

Social media comments

If a portion of your sales starts with a post, comments are urgent questions. Wizybot includes 5,000 AI-powered comments per month on Instagram and Facebook, and charges five cents for each additional comment. Revie works exclusively via WhatsApp and does not post anything for comments.

For brands that sell through content, like those already learning to sell on TikTok Shop in Mexico, that line item could be the largest on the entire list.

Campaign responses

This is the starkest difference between the two. When a customer replies to a Wizybot campaign, the response enters the same inbox where your AI and agents handle support. The conversation continues right where it started.

Revie recommends using a dedicated number for marketing. According to their help center, when a customer replies to a campaign sent from that number, they receive an automated response stating that the number is not monitored and directing them to your brand's support number. The interested customer then has to open a new chat and start from scratch.

Order notification responses

An "out for delivery" notification triggers responses like: "I won't be home," "Can you leave it with the neighbor?", or "What time will it arrive?". In Wizybot, that response goes into the inbox and is handled by the AI or an agent. In Revie, if you don't have the Plus inbox, the response goes to a number no one is watching, or it has to be handled in your support WhatsApp.

This line item almost never appears in accounts, but it grows with every notification you send. More notifications mean fewer "where is my order?" questions, but also more responses that someone has to read.

A purchase issue

A customer writes in saying they received the wrong size. Neither platform offers a flow that executes exchanges or returns from start to finish.

In Wizybot, the message enters the inbox. The AI can explain your exchange policy and escalate the case to an agent or the relevant department, complete with the full history. The ticket remains open, claimed, or closed, and you can measure how long each agent took to respond.

In Revie, the customer might reply to an order notification or a review request. If you don't have the Plus plan with their inbox, that response requires someone to see it in your support WhatsApp. And a one-star review due to a poorly handled exchange is exactly what you don't want to publish.

Outgoing messages

These are more numerous, but each one is simpler. Here, each tool's billing model significantly impacts the invoice.

Carts and pending payments

Both platforms recover abandoned carts via WhatsApp. In Wizybot, those flows are unlimited and do not consume your AI allowance, and their automations also confirm payments—useful if a portion of your orders are paid via bank transfer or cash on delivery. In Revie, cart flows are available starting from the Pro plan, and every reminder is a paid message.

A reminder only recovers sales if the store doesn't scare the customer away at the final step. These strategies to reduce cart abandonment rates help plug the leaks before sending the first message.

Order notifications

Revie sends notifications starting from the Pro plan at every stage: confirmation, order prepared for shipping, tracking number and link, in transit, out for delivery, and delivered. It pulls data from your platform and the carrier. Wizybot includes real-time order tracking within its automations; ask during the demo which notifications it sends automatically and which ones it responds to when the customer writes in.

In both cases, the notification is only as good as the data it receives. If your deliveries have many failed attempts, check the basics of home delivery before blaming the tool.

Campaigns

Wizybot includes unlimited campaigns in its plan; what you pay for are Meta's charges for each marketing message sent. Revie offers them in the Plus plan, and each message is billed based on the country and message type. For dates like the World Cup in Mexico or Valentine's Day, where a campaign goes out to your entire database in one day, that difference shows up on your invoice and in your inbox.

Review requests

This is where Revie stands alone. It requests reviews via WhatsApp after payment or delivery, plus the number of days you configure, and it won't message a customer again if they've received a request in the last 30 days. You can exclude products, send requests manually or resend them, and if the customer replies STOP, they stop receiving them. Starting from the Lite plan, it accepts reviews with photos, videos, and audio. From the Pro plan, you can offer a discount in exchange for photos or videos and publish them automatically.

Wizybot does not include a review module in its published offering.

The timing of the request matters more than the tool. If you ask for feedback before the customer opens the box, the response will be poor. Good unboxing experience packaging and waiting a few days after delivery improves the responses you get.

What you do with a review once it arrives

Requesting the review is only half of what Revie does. The other half happens afterward.

Your team can moderate reviews, choose which ones to display, edit or reassign those left for the wrong product, and import feedback from other platforms. Starting with the Pro plan, AI categorizes every review as positive, neutral, or negative, and you can send your ratings to Google Shopping. It also offers a snippet so that stars appear in search results and allows you to turn a review into an image for your social media. If you are working on your ecommerce SEO, those stars are one of the few things you can add to the search result without touching your site.

Sentiment analysis is useful for more than just your storefront. If ten customers say the sizing runs small, the problem is in the product description, not the product itself.

💡#CubboTip: Every Monday, review the one- and two-star ratings from the week and categorize them by product, shipping, and expectations. If the expectations group grows, adjust your photos and descriptions before asking for more reviews.

Revie sends requests from its own Meta-authorized number because, according to the brand, people respond more often and more honestly when a third party asks. Their plan guide indicates that with the Pro plan, you can connect a number exclusive to your store. Decide this before signing up: if your customer receives messages from three different numbers associated with your brand, they won't know which one to text when they have an issue.

The monthly bill, line by line

With the list of messages from the example, you can now price out each line item. These are the published plans:

  • Wizybot Basic: $149.99 per month, including 2,750 AI messages and 5,000 AI comments. Seven cents per extra AI message and five cents per comment. Unlimited advisors, campaigns, and automations. Details in their published plans.
  • Revie Pay-As-You-Go: no monthly fee, 12 cents per message sent, including widget and review moderation.
  • Revie Lite, Pro, and Plus: $9, $39, and $99 per month, plus a per-message fee based on the destination country and message type. The rate for Mexico is not listed in their guide.

The Revie plans page It also shows packages based on orders, at $59 for 1,000 orders per month and $99 for 2,000, so ask which of the two options applies to your case.

At Wizybot, an AI message is one where the artificial intelligence responds to the customer. Initial messages, agent messages, and outgoing messages do not count. At Revie, every message that leaves your store is charged.

Reviews category

One request per order equals 600 messages. With Revie Pay-As-You-Go, that costs about $72 per month. Wizybot does not request reviews, so this category only exists for Revie.

Notifications and cart reminders category

Three notifications per order and 200 cart reminders add up to 2,000 messages; with reviews, that's 2,600. At Wizybot, none of those sends consume your AI message allowance. With Revie Pro, you would pay $39 plus those 2,600 messages at the Mexico rate. If that rate were equal to the 12 cents of the Pay-As-You-Go plan, the month would come out to about $351, but that is an assumption: ask for the actual figure in writing.

Conversations category

If the Wizybot AI provides three responses in each of the 800 conversations, that's 2,400 AI messages, which falls within the Basic plan allowance. The month stays at $149.99. If the volume increases to 1,500 conversations with three responses each, that's 4,500 AI messages; the 1,750 extra messages add about $122.50, for a total of about $272.

At Revie, this category only has a tool cost if you sign up for Plus, and even then, every response from Lia is an additional message.

The takeaway is straightforward: if you only want reviews, Revie is the cheaper option and the only one of the two that requests them. If you send many notifications and campaigns, the Wizybot model works in your favor because it doesn't charge per send.

💡#CubboHack: Pull two numbers from your last month: how many automated messages you sent and how many responses your team gave in the chat. If the first number is much larger, paying per send will be costly. If the second is larger, paying per AI response will be costly.

The gaps left by either option

There are items on the list that neither of them fully covers.

The first is the response to a campaign that should end in a sale. With Revie, the customer is directed to a different number. With Wizybot, the response lands in the inbox, but their published offering doesn't include a report on which sales resulted from each conversation or campaign.

The second is size exchanges. Both can explain your policy, but the case ultimately ends up in the hands of a person.

The third is knowing what each message actually did for you. You can measure reviews by response rate and support by response time, but to know if WhatsApp is actually driving sales, you have to cross-reference that data with your sales data and drivers on your own.

Cubbo Engage, when a campaign response needs to end in a sale

If those gaps are exactly what you're worried about, there is a third option worth including in your trial.

Cubbo Engage is an AI agent for sales and customer service on WhatsAppdesigned for D2C brands in Mexico. It was built by handling real conversations for thousands of orders andworks with your current operations: your store, your warehouse, and your shipping carriers. It’s a better fit for brands with real volume—starting at around 500 orders per month—with high volumes of support conversations and abandoned carts.

The clearest way to see it is to follow a customer for a month. A home goods brand sends a campaign for sheet sets to those who bought pillows last year. A customer replies in the same chat: they want to know if the queen size will fit their 12-inch mattress. The agent checks the catalog, recommends the deep-pocket version, builds the cart, and sends the payment link right there. The sale is attributed to the campaign.

Three days later, the customer asks where their order is. Engage recognizes them by their number, without asking for an order ID, and replies with the carrier's status: tracking that actually answers, rather than just notifying. When they receive the sheets, the color isn't what they expected and they request an exchange. The agent explains the policy, handles the exchange case, and because the conversation already has a return tag explaining why it was initiated, your team sees the case with full context if they need to step in.

A month later, a repurchase automation offers them the matching pillowcases. The tags, which are created in natural language, are used to send that campaign only to those who bought sheets but not pillowcases. Each sale is recorded based on where it closed—campaign, recovered cart, or customer-initiated conversation—without double-counting. Before calling it new revenue, check your margins, discounts, and returns.

About 60% of the conversations Engage handles arrive outside of business hours, and more than 85% of tickets are resolved without human intervention. Actions regarding the order, such as correcting an address before dispatch, depend on integrations with your store and order management system. To get started, you need access to Meta Business Suite and a dedicated number provided by the Engage team.

For a useful demo, bring your own messages: a real customer response to one of your campaigns, a product question that arrived after hours, and an exchange that happens every week. With that, you can compare Engage using the same material you used for Wizybot and Revie.

If you decide to use both

In this pairing, combining them makes more sense than almost any other, because they rarely overlap. Revie requests reviews, offers discounts for photos, and feeds Google Shopping. Wizybot answers questions and comments, recovers carts, sends notifications, and handles responses to your campaigns.

In the 600-order example, Wizybot Basic and Revie’s usage-based plan for reviews would total about $222 per month, plus Meta’s fees for Wizybot’s outgoing messages.

For the combination to work, keep these points in mind:

  • One point of contact per message. If both send cart reminders or shipping notifications, your customer will receive them twice. Turn off those flows in Revie if Wizybot is handling them.
  • Clear numbers. Reviews can come from the Revie number, while customer support comes from yours in Wizybot. Make sure the review request doesn't invite customers to reply there with questions.
  • Separate metrics. Measure reviews by response rate and average rating, and support by response time and cases resolved without human intervention. Then, check if the combination brings customers back using these customer loyalty strategies as a reference.

What to ask before signing

Both platforms leave some things open-ended. These questions will save you from surprises during the first month.

For Wizybot

  • Which order notifications does it send automatically, and which ones does it only answer when the customer asks? Does it check the actual tracking status with the carrier?
  • After the first month of unlimited AI messages, how many AI responses does a store like yours average per conversation? Base your budget on a typical month, not the first one.
  • The guarantee offers a refund if the tool doesn't pay for itself in the first month: how is that measured?
  • How does it connect to your platform? Wizybot lists Shopify, Tiendanube, WooCommerce, VTEX, and WordPress, as well as HubSpot and Salesforce.

Wizybot does not charge for implementation, has no long-term contracts, includes an account manager in all plans, and assists you with the installation.

For Revie

  • What is the per-message rate for Mexico in the Lite, Pro, and Plus plans, and which message types cost more?
  • Is a monthly plan or an order-based package better for you?
  • Which plan allows you to use your store's WhatsApp number? Their guide says Pro, but their pricing page says Plus.
  • What happens to the replies to your order notifications if you don't have the Plus inbox?

Revie installs as an app on your store platform (it lists three, including Tiendanube and VTEX), offers a free trial, and, according to its pricing page, imports orders from the last 60 days so you can request reviews from recent customers from day one.

Count your messages before choosing

Wizybot and Revie work on different sides of the same WhatsApp. Wizybot handles what comes in: questions, comments, campaign replies, and issues, and it charges for each AI response. Revie handles what goes out, focusing on reviews, and charges for each message it sends.

If your WhatsApp, social media, and email receive more questions than your team can answer, start with Wizybot. If your product listings lack reviews and you want to leverage them on Google, start with Revie. If you're missing both, don't rule out using both. What decides it is your own list of messages from the last month, with their actual volumes.

If you want your campaign replies, product questions, and tracking to be resolved in the same chat, talk to a specialist. Bring your monthly conversation volume and some real chats to review how Engage would respond using your data.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Which is cheaper, Wizybot or Revie?

It depends on which messages you need. To request only reviews, Revie's Pay-As-You-Go plan charges 12 cents per message, about 72 dollars a month for 600 requests. Wizybot costs 149.99 dollars a month for 2,750 AI messages and doesn't charge for campaigns or notifications, but it doesn't request reviews.

What does Wizybot count as an AI message?

Only the messages where the artificial intelligence responds to the customer. Initial messages, agent messages, and outbound messages do not count. Each additional AI message costs 7 cents.

How much does each message cost in Revie?

On the Pay-As-You-Go plan, it's 12 cents per message sent. In the Lite, Pro, and Plus plans, the cost depends on the destination country and the type of message, and it is added to the monthly fee. Revie does not publish the Mexico rate in its guide, so it is best to request it in writing.

Does Revie answer customer questions with AI?

Yes, in the 99-dollar-a-month Plus plan plus message fees. Its assistant is named Lia and answers inquiries via WhatsApp. Plus also includes campaigns and a conversation inbox.

Can I use Wizybot and Revie at the same time?

Yes, and this pairing usually makes sense because they rarely overlap. Use Revie for reviews and Wizybot for customer service, carts, and notifications, and leave each message to a single tool to avoid sending duplicate notifications.

Does Cubbo Engage work with my current operation?

Yes. Engage is contracted separately and works with your current store, warehouse, and shipping carriers. What it can do with your orders depends on the available integrations.
