Revie Pricing and WhatsApp Costs

Revie pricing combines a subscription with usage-based charges. Lite costs US$9 per month, Pro US$39, and Plus US$99. There is also a Pay-as-you-go option with no fixed monthly fee, but with charges for sends.

The difference between plans lies in the review, automation, marketing, and support features. Variable spend depends on the type of send and the country, so the monthly fee does not necessarily represent your full bill.

To choose, calculate how many review requests, notifications, and campaign messages you need. Then review what you want to achieve: more useful reviews, recovered purchases, repeat purchases, or fewer pending inquiries. Here we explain how to build that budget and what to compare if you are also evaluating Cubbo Engage.

How much Revie costs and what each plan includes

Revie's official plans page presents Lite, Pro, and Plus with message charges that vary by country. Its Shopify listing and help center also include Pay-as-you-go.

Plan Published monthly fee Advertised variable charge
Pay-as-you-go US$0 US$0.08 per message or request, according to the description of this option
Lite US$9 From US$0.015 per review request; varies by country
Pro US$39 From US$0.015 per review request; varies by country
Plus US$99 From US$0.015 per review request; varies by country

The "from US$0.015" amount appears in the official Shopify listing. It should not be read as a confirmed rate for Mexico or for any marketing message. Charges are advertised in US dollars, and the listing states 30-day billing cycles.

The website also shows packages based on order volume. Confirm which option you will sign up for and what terms appear when you authorize the charge; don't mix their quantities or benefits with the plans in this table.

Pay-as-you-go

This option lets you start without a fixed monthly fee and includes the widget and review moderation. Sends generate usage.

It can work for exploring a small operation, but "free installation" does not mean requesting reviews at no cost. Ask whether an initial balance is included and what happens when it runs out.

Also confirm the billing unit. The help center talks about messages, while the Shopify listing uses review requests in the description of the charge. You need to know which event your account records before calculating volume.

Lite

Lite adds review importing and content with photos, video, and audio.

It may make sense if your priority is collecting experiences that help other shoppers evaluate the product. In apparel, a photo can show how a garment fits; in home goods, a video can clarify size or use.

The value also depends on how you present that content. Check where the widget appears, which products have few reviews, and which get the most visits before expanding collection.

Pro

Pro adds automatic publishing, AI review analysis, Google Shopping integration, and sending rules. The website and help center also describe cart recovery and order notifications.

If you need those features, calculate the usage they will generate. Activating more flows can increase sends even if the monthly fee stays the same.

The Google Shopping integration requires setup and compliance with the program's requirements. Its inclusion in a plan does not guarantee that ratings will automatically appear on every listing.

Plus

Plus expands customization and connection of the business number. Revie's help center describes an inbox, conversation management, a chatbot with custom responses, and dedicated support.

Revie therefore also offers support features. If that is your goal, ask for a demo with your catalog, policies, and support cases to check their scope in the contracted setup.

Evaluate who will be able to step in, what history will be available, and how chatbot activity will be billed. The rate for a review request does not tell you the price of any automated conversation.

What Revie charges and what you should confirm

To budget, distinguish between an order, a request, a message, and a received review.

One order can generate a review request, several notifications, and a follow-up. A request can go unanswered. A received review may need moderation before it is published.

The advertised cost of requesting a review does not mean you are paying only for completed reviews. Your calculation should use the billable units of the option you sign up for.

Before activating sends, confirm:

  • Whether the charge occurs when the request is generated, sent, or delivered.
  • How failed messages and retries are handled.
  • Whether there are reminders and whether each one generates a charge.
  • How requests are charged for orders with several products.
  • What rate applies to each destination country.
  • What charges apply to campaigns, notifications, and support.

💡 #CubboTip: Ask for a billing example with three orders: one with a single product, another with several, and another whose customer doesn't respond. That way you can see how many units would be charged in each journey.

How to calculate your monthly Revie cost

The general structure is:

Subtotal = subscription + billable requests + other contracted sends or usage.

Each block is calculated with its corresponding rate. If you have requests in different countries, separate their volumes and prices.

To show how spend changes, these examples use US$0.015 per billable request on Lite, Pro, and Plus. It is a scenario using the minimum advertised price, not a quote for Mexico. Pay-as-you-go uses US$0.08 and assumes that all requests in the table are billable.

Billable requests Pay-as-you-go at US$0.08 Lite at US$0.015 Pro at US$0.015 Plus at US$0.015
250 US$20.00 US$12.75 US$42.75 US$102.75
500 US$40.00 US$16.50 US$46.50 US$106.50
1,000 US$80.00 US$24.00 US$54.00 US$114.00
2,000 US$160.00 US$39.00 US$69.00 US$129.00

The totals include the monthly fee and that request usage. They do not include campaigns, notifications, chatbot activity, taxes, or other charges that may apply.

Example with Pro and 1,000 requests

At the illustrative rate of US$0.015, the requests would add up to US$15. Adding the Pro monthly fee, the subtotal would be US$54.

If your confirmed rate were different, replace the unit price in the calculation. For example, with a hypothetical rate of US$0.03, the same volume would add up to US$30 and the subtotal would be US$69.

The second figure is there to show price sensitivity; it does not represent a published Revie rate for any specific market.

When a subscription can cost less than Pay-as-you-go

Using the table's assumptions, Lite and Pay-as-you-go would break even at around 139 billable requests: the difference between US$0.08 and US$0.015 would offset the US$9 monthly fee.

That result depends on both rates applying to your account, on the units being comparable, and on there being no included allowance that changes the calculation. It is not a universal rule for choosing Lite.

To compare Pro or Plus, add the value of the features you need. A more complete plan is not justified just by collecting the same number of reviews.

Order volume is not enough to estimate sends

If a store has 500 orders and decides to send two updates and one review request per order, it could generate 1,500 sends before campaigns or reminders.

This example does not imply that they all have the same rate or that Revie charges exactly three units per order. It shows why you need to separate the journeys.

Also check when each request is triggered. Asking for a review before the customer receives or tries the product can produce an unhelpful response or a complaint about the process.

In beauty, supplements, or products for ongoing use, the right moment may be different from that of an accessory whose performance can be checked immediately.

Unboxing and the experience of receiving the product can provide content that other shoppers relate to. The request should accompany a real experience that the customer can already describe.

💡 #CubboHack: Map out the messages a shopper receives from the order to the repeat purchase. Mark the goal and possible cost of each one. Then remove duplicates across tools and define when each follow-up should stop.

How to measure the cost per useful review

The cost per request helps you control usage. The cost per published, useful review lets you evaluate the outcome of collection.

Suppose the Pro scenario costs US$54 and generates 200 published reviews. Dividing the subtotal by those reviews would give US$0.27 per review. If it generates 100, the result would be US$0.54.

These are mathematical examples, not observed response rates or performance promises. If the subscription is also used for other goals, this split attributes all the spend to reviews and may need adjusting.

In addition to quantity, review the content. A review that explains size, texture, compatibility, or ease of use can answer a specific purchase question.

BigCommerce's explanation of the role of reviews in ecommerce helps explain their function in shopper trust. Collecting more reviews makes sense when they can be found and provide relevant information.

What to look at in your store

Measure billable requests, received reviews, published reviews, and products that still lack enough content. Also separate formats: text, photo, video, and audio.

Then look at how they are used in the shopping experience. Does the widget appear on mobile? Do the reviews match the product shown? Can visitors find the answers they are looking for?

The techniques to increase your conversion rate help you connect that information with the rest of the journey. The effect of reviews also depends on the offer and the clarity of the store.

WhatsApp and marketing need their own budget

The rate for a review request should not be applied automatically to a promotional campaign.

The official WhatsApp Business Platform rates depend on factors such as market, message category, and free-of-charge conditions. Confirm how they are built into Revie's pricing.

Don't add a Meta rate twice. First ask whether the price Revie quotes you already includes that component or whether it is billed separately. Also check for any additional provider charges.

For a campaign, calculate the audience that will receive the message, the applicable rate, and the follow-up support it may generate. Ask what happens if the customer replies and continues with a person or with the chatbot.

Connect that budget to your digital marketing strategy for ecommerce. The goal of the send should define how you measure it: a request seeks a review; a campaign may seek a purchase or a reactivation.

Cubbo Engage for selling and providing support on WhatsApp

If you are reviewing Revie pricing to improve communication with your shoppers, identify which problem accounts for most of the work. Collecting reviews, recovering a cart, and resolving an issue are related goals, but they need their own journeys and metrics.

Cubbo Engage is an AI agent for sales and customer support on WhatsApp, with campaigns, automations, and support for ecommerce. It is built for D2C brands that need to advise shoppers, continue pending purchases, and follow up after the order.

It may make sense to evaluate it when questions go unanswered after hours, the team keeps repeating answers to product and order inquiries, or campaigns generate interest that doesn't get attention.

Revie also offers campaigns, flows, and a chatbot. To compare, test the same cases and check what data each agent uses, what actions the integration allows, and how the result is recorded.

Before the purchase: resolving the question that holds back the decision

Engage can advise using the catalog and connected information, recommend products, and share the purchase link in the brand's tone.

In an apparel store, the shopper might ask about a variant or the size guide. In perfumes, they might ask for a recommendation based on their preferences. The response depends on the available information and the configured rules.

Reviews can provide other customers' experiences, while the conversation handles the current shopper's situation. Both can help address trust challenges in ecommerce.

If the same question keeps coming up, use that signal to improve the product page and your online store's usability. Avoiding confusion also reduces unnecessary contacts.

Pending carts: continuing with context

Engage lets you set up follow-ups with triggers, conditions, and wait times. When the customer replies, the agent can continue the conversation and help them get back to the purchase.

An illustrative journey would be a pending cart whose shopper needs to confirm the shipping cost. The follow-up should answer that question with the connected information and stop the related reminders if the purchase is completed.

The common causes of cart abandonment help you design the response. A payment question is not necessarily resolved with another promotion.

After the purchase: support and repeat purchases

Engage provides support with the available context and lets your team step in when a case needs human judgment. Order tracking and actions on orders depend on the integrations.

A status inquiry may require order data. An exception to a policy needs review. Evaluate both types of case during the demo.

For repeat purchases, automations can organize follow-ups based on the brand's conditions. For products bought on a recurring basis, this makes it possible to plan timely contacts within a customer loyalty strategy.

Tags, memory, and results

Smart tags classify conversation signals according to the criteria your business defines. Memory keeps the available context to continue the support, and attribution separates sales from campaigns, recovered carts, and inbound conversations without double-counting them across those channels.

This lets you analyze which journeys are associated with purchases and which contact reasons need improvement. Attributed sales should be evaluated together with margin and discounts; not all of them automatically equal incremental revenue.

Bring a product chat, a pending cart, and a real issue to a demo. Check how the agent responds, when it escalates the case, and what information is left available for your team.

How to compare the investment

A Cubbo Engage proposal depends on your conversation volume and the messages you need to send. You can use it without signing up for Cubbo Fulfillment; the scope of the integrations is reviewed for your current operation.

Request quotes for the same period, channels, and goals. If reviews are essential to your strategy, include that need in the evaluation and confirm how you will keep collecting and publishing them.

Choosing a support platform does not mean it will replace every feature of a review tool. Depending on your scope, the tools could cover different or partially overlapping needs.

When it makes sense to move from Lite to Pro or Plus

If the variable rate were the same, moving from Lite to Pro adds US$30 to the monthly fee, and moving from Pro to Plus adds US$60. The question is which additional feature you will use and what result you need to achieve.

Before upgrading, identify a specific case: automating a follow-up, managing messages from the inbox, or analyzing reviews you currently go through by hand.

Then define how you will check its usefulness. Depending on the goal, you can look at work time, resolution, recovered purchases, or review quality.

Customer service metrics help you evaluate whether automation reduces pending items or whether inquiries end up reopened.

💡 #CubboTip: Test one improvement at a time and compare periods with similar promotions. If you change campaigns, discounts, and automations at the same time, it will be harder to identify what produced the result.

Plan setup and cancellation

Before activating, prepare the request rules, the products that will display reviews, and the timing of the send. Also test how the content looks on mobile and what happens when the customer asks for help instead of leaving a review.

If you import past orders, confirm which ones are eligible for contact and how many sends that action could generate. Importing information does not mean that all subsequent sends are included.

To cancel, the help center article on canceling the plan says to switch to Pay-as-you-go, turn off requests, and uninstall the app. Also review pending usage, data access, and export terms.

Ask for confirmation that billing has been closed. Stopping a subscription does not automatically remove charges that have already been generated.

10 things to check before signing up for Revie

Ask for a proposal that answers these questions:

  1. What rate applies to my requests in Mexico and other destinations?
  2. What exactly counts as a billable unit?
  3. Is there any included volume or initial balance?
  4. How are reminders, failures, and retries charged?
  5. What do campaigns, notifications, and chatbot activity cost?
  6. Does the rate include Meta messaging or is it added separately?
  7. What features and connections does the plan I'm signing up for cover?
  8. How does a person step into an automated conversation?
  9. What reports show usage, reviews, and campaign results?
  10. How can I cancel and keep the data I need?

To evaluate collection, also review how you will turn reviews into useful content. Ask for testimonials that explain what problem the product solved and what the experience was like, not just a star rating.

Choose based on the goal and the full cost

Revie pricing lets you start with a low monthly fee, but your budget should account for usage and scope. Calculate requests, notifications, campaigns, and support with the rates that apply to your account.

Then connect the spend to the outcome: useful reviews, resolved inquiries, or assisted purchases. Comparing only the entry price can hide both usage and the features you need.

If your priority is serving shoppers, recovering carts, and continuing sales and support conversations, talk to a specialist to evaluate Cubbo Engage. Bring your monthly volume, sample chats, and follow-up goals to review the proposal with your operation.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

How much does Revie cost per month?

Lite is listed at US$9, Pro at US$39, and Plus at US$99, plus usage. There is also Pay-as-you-go with no fixed monthly fee, with charges for sends according to its terms.

Is Revie free?

Free installation and no monthly fee on Pay-as-you-go do not eliminate usage charges. Confirm which sends are charged and whether any balance is included.

Is US$0.015 the price per request in Mexico?

That figure does not confirm it. Shopify presents it as a starting price that varies by country. Ask for the rate that applies to your recipients.

Do I pay for requests or for reviews received?

The offer advertises charges for requests or messages depending on the option. You should not assume you are charged only when the customer completes a review.

How much does Pro cost with 1,000 requests?

At the illustrative rate of US$0.015 per request, the subtotal would be US$54. You should replace it with your confirmed rate and add any other applicable usage.

Does Revie also have a chatbot?

Yes. Its website presents Lia, and the help center includes a chatbot and inbox on Plus. Confirm features, connected data, and usage rules in your setup.

Does a campaign cost the same as a review request?

You should not assume so. Ask for the rate by category, destination, and option, as well as how subsequent replies are handled.

Do Revie and Cubbo Engage replace exactly the same features?

That cannot be determined by price alone. Compare reviews, campaigns, automations, support, integrations, and reports against your use cases. Confirm which features you need to keep.

Do I need Cubbo Fulfillment to use Engage?

No. You can use it with your current operation. The scope of catalog, orders, and follow-up depends on the available integrations.
